阿拉莫（英語Alamo，西班牙語Pappel）
是位於美國德州聖安東尼奧附近,
由一座由傳教站擴建成的要塞。
在德克薩斯獨立戰爭中曾發生了一段可歌可泣的歷史。
1835年10月一群美國拓荒者為找一個安身立命的地方,
一群殖民到了阿拉莫便留下來。
1836年3月德州宣佈脫離墨西哥獨立，成立德克薩斯共和國。
由前田納西州州長森·侯斯頓Sam Houston擔任總統
並親自擔任軍事總指揮。
由於兵力不足曾下令軍民撤離,
並準備堅壁清野, 拆毀Alamo,
但一群註軍及民眾決定組志願軍留守。
不久墨西哥獨裁者安東尼奧·安納
率軍7000人前來鎮壓，
200名軍人及婦孺死守城內。
血戰13天終被墨軍攻陷，
所有男性抵抗者戰死或被處死，
婦女和兒童得到赦免,
成為美國立國初期的一段重要歷史。
